Our primary role centres on coordinating, managing, monitoring, and reporting across all stages of the project, with particular focus on the design, procurement and construction phases on behalf of the Client. Our key responsibilities include organising, convening and chairing project related meetings, whilst also establishing meeting structures, procedures and reporting protocols to fit into a wider delivery strategy.
We continually monitor the performance of the Professional Team and Contractor, whilst maintaining the Programme for the design, procurement and construction of the Project.
Preparation & brief
We work closely with our Clients to clearly define project requirements and key deliverables. We record, communicate, and monitor the brief, and establish robust procedures to safeguard it through project execution planning.
We identify, procure, and manage the Client’s delivery team and other specialist appointments to complete core tasks, including feasibility studies; budget and programme establishment; development of site information; project execution planning; initial procurement / tendering reviews; risk assessments; and pre-application planning engagement.
Concept, spatial, and technical design
We conduct the project team to develop the design from a viable concept to a coordinated technical design. We do this with alignment to the Client’s brief, while actively managing risks and opportunities, and engaging with necessary stakeholders and third-parties.
We manage the planning submission process alongside the design programme, and we cultivate the procurement strategy to safeguard project requirements. We use out expertise in contract administration to inform the contractual strategy and contract negotiations to ensure the development is well positioned for construction commencement.
Construction / contract administration
We manage and administer the Building Contract by coordinating approvals, conducting regular site inspections, and monitoring progress and quality through regular site inspections. We obtain and agree necessary test certificates and statutory / non statutory approvals, preparing recommendations for the Client.
We liaise with the Client, Professional Team and Contractor to develop and maintain a handover plan, clearly defining roles, procedures and reporting arrangements.
